Engaged Encounter is an intensive working weekend that is an approved component of the Richmond Diocese Marriage Preparation Program. Each couple is offered time and opportunity to question, examine, and deepen their relationship with each other and with God. Couples are challenged to explore their relationship prayerfully, in a much deeper, more honest way than they have before.
The weekend takes place Saturday 7:30 am to 10:00 pm and Sunday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. We will serve you lunch and dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday. We do not coordinate sleeping accommodations for out of town couples. Please search for nearby accommodations using the church address ( 4491 Springfield Road | Glen Allen, VA | 23060).
For cancellations please send an email to [email protected]. To receive a refund, you must cancel or transfer by noon on the Tuesday preceding the weekend for which you have registered. We cannot refund any portion of your registration after noon on Tuesday. This is due to food and hotel obligations.
